How do I place a preorder?
Tap any Preorder button on this site and fill out the short order form. It takes about two minutes, and you don't need an account — just your name and contact info so we know whose bread is whose.
When do preorders close?
Preorders are open until Wednesday at 8 PM before each Saturday market. Every order is baked to order — we need the lead time to feed the starter and get your loaf through its 24-hour bake.
Where and when do I pick up?
The preorder form tells you the pickup location for that week. Pickup hours follow that market's hours for the day — for Saturday markets, that's the Ocean Shores City Market. Come to our stand, give us your name, and your order is boxed and waiting.
Do I pay online?
Nope — you pay when you pick up. We accept card, cash, and Venmo at the stand.
What if I can't make it to pickup?
Life happens — just let us know as soon as you can (a Facebook message is fastest) and we'll try to work something out. A heads-up matters: unclaimed orders mean donated bread and a bake slot another customer didn't get. If an order goes unclaimed without notice, future orders will need to be prepaid.
Is your bread gluten-free?
No. Sourdough fermentation reduces gluten, but it doesn't eliminate it — our breads are not safe for anyone with celiac disease or a wheat allergy. More on that in our honest look at sourdough and health.
How do you handle allergens?
Every product label lists full ingredients and a "Contains" statement, and the menu notes allergens for each item. Everything is made in a home kitchen that also handles wheat, milk, sesame, and tree nuts — if you have a serious allergy, please ask us before ordering.
Can I order for a day you're not at the market?
Ask us! Our bake schedule revolves around Saturday markets, but if you need bread for a special occasion, a holiday, or just a mid-week craving, send us a message on Facebook with what you're hoping for and when. We'll be straight with you about whether we can fit it into the bake schedule — when we can, we're happy to arrange a pickup.
Do you sell anything besides baked goods?
We do — pantry goods like our olive oil dip mix, aged vanilla extract, and basil salt, with our freeze-dried candies returning soon. And our farm, Wishkah Acres, sells fresh eggs direct from the farm.
